1. Book Your Boop
You can book your session at a time that's convenient for you using the schedule at the bottom of this page (just scroll down). Your Boop portrait session typically takes 1 to 2 hours and costs $500. We require a $100 deposit to hold your reservation and the balance is due at the end of your session.
Before your portrait session, we’d like to learn about your dog, the look you love and what you hope to create. We can do that by phone, Zoom or by sending you a form.
We’ll also discuss the session itself such as whether your dog will have the spotlight all to themselves—or whether you’d like to join them for a few portraits. Or, both!
2. Let’s Create Magic
When you arrive at the studio, everything will be ready for you.
When you first arrive, we typically encourage dogs to sniff around the studio to get used to the new environment. It’s all about making them feel as safe as possible.
During your session, we’ll create a variety of looks. Some portraits may feel classic and refined. Others may be playful, expressive or completely unexpected—because dogs have a wonderful way of bringing their own ideas to a photo session. 🙂
We will guide you throughout the entire experience. We’ll help position your dog, watch for the smallest changes in expression and coach you if you choose to be photographed too. You don't need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do. We got this!
3. The "Big Reveal" and Order Time
After your session, we’ll go through all of the photos together and narrow them down to the ones that you would like for your own. (The photos that you choose will be professionally retouched so they look incredible.)
After we go through the photos, we’ll show you options for our various collections and help you create something that fits your photographs, your home and your budget. Collections start at $250 - and, don't worry, there's no hard sales pitch. We want you to be excited about your choice.
There are lots possible combinations of images, sizes, finishes and products. Because every client wants something different, listing every variation on a pricing page would make the process feel far more complicated than it really is. We'll add the cost of your collection to the balance of the portrait session and will "ring you up" when we're done.
